Passport time!

Well I was under the impression I was getting a no fee passport but thats not going to happen so now I need to go get one. I also needed it expedited. I went twice, first time didnt have all the documents needed so I had to return again. There are florms to fill out, pictures to take (walgreens) and ID that you need to bring in order to even send anything out. I went and without an apptointment I could possibly sit there all day just to be turned away. (Appointments were over 2 weeks out!) Thankfully I went early, waited and was seen. 200$ later my passport renewal was being expedited and will hopefully be in my hands before we board the plane for Guam. Joe and Joey already have passport so I am the odd man out.

Housing

So we had submitted our housing application and all the documents necessary. THEN we received notice that we would be moving a month early.  A MONTH EARLY. Now I need to re submit everything so we have a house available. The joys of the Navy!

Moving day!

We had our move-in walk thru and now our pack out. We had movers show up on time on day one. 5 hours later they had packed most of our things. Day 2 I had planned on going into work but they showed up 2 hrs late and stayed for another 6. So glad thats over.

The long haul

So we have completed our Overseas screening...a great time with many shots had by all!
Moving right along. After trying 6 different computers we finally found a computer to complete our military move paperwork. This was then faxed twice to a person that I wasn't able to reach for 2 weeks. I then scheduled my move date and walk thru. Then changed it 2 more times. Working full time allows me little room for packing and all that nonsense so its easier to push it back! lol Now to get my 6 chair dining table, 2 kayaks and bikes from my mothers 6 hours away all before the big move.
